Inventory and invoicing for retail shops & supermarkets

Counter sales in nine payment methods, returns that put stock back, and a daily sales report you can export.

The problem

The till has to be quick, the payment could be any of half a dozen things, and at close of day somebody has to work out what was sold, what came back and whether the cash matches. None of that should take an evening.

What ulostock does about it

Four ways to record a sale

POS for the counter, invoice for the customer who needs one, credit invoice for the account customer, and order invoice for what is sold before it is collected — each a distinct sale type with its own status through to payment.

Nine payment methods out of the box

Cash, bank transfer, credit, cheque, debit card, credit card, mobile money, POS terminal and online payment — recorded on the sale, so the sales report can break takings down by how they were paid.

Returns that restore stock

Process a return against the original sale, item by item. Returned stock goes back into inventory automatically, and the return is kept as its own record with its own status rather than editing the sale away.

A daily sales report, exportable

Close the day with a daily sales report, or run sales over any range — today, the last seven days, the last thirty, the last three months or dates you choose. Every report downloads as PDF or Excel.

Control over who can do what

Staff get roles built from fine-grained permissions across every area of the system, so the person on the till can record a sale without being able to delete one, edit prices or see the financial reports.

Questions we get asked

Which payment methods can I record?

Cash, bank transfer, credit, cheque, debit card, credit card, mobile money, POS terminal and online payment. The sales report breaks takings down by method.

What happens to stock when a customer returns something?

A sale return is recorded against the original sale, and the returned items go back into inventory automatically. The return is kept as its own record, so the original sale and the return are both auditable.

Can I export reports?

Yes. Sales, purchase, inventory, P&L statement and P&L per product reports all download as PDF or Excel.
